Earlier this year, e+Solutions (ePlus), U-Freight’s comprehensive logistics package designed specifically for owners of small start-up e-commerce businesses, gained official recognition from the Hong Kong Brand Development Council.

It has now received two further awards, one from the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA); the other from the Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES).

The initial recognition, earlier this year, for the bespoke service launched by the U-Freight Group in 2018 was the presentation of a Hong Kong Emerging Services Brand Award for demonstrating outstanding merits against six evaluation criteria considered by an independent judging panel.

The judges decided to present e+Solutions with the Hong Kong Emerging Services Brand Award having assessed the reputation, distinctiveness, innovation, quality, and image of the service, as well has its commitment to environmental, social responsibility and Corporate Governance (ESG) standards.

The objective of the award is to give recognition to up-and-coming young brands established by Hong Kong companies, with an aim to encourage the industries to embrace an enterprising spirit and to enhance the value-added attributes and the competitive edge of Hong Kong products and services through brand-building.

The subsequent recognition saw the e+Solutions product presented with The Social Enterprise Supporter Award 2022 by the Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES), a non-profit organization that is committed to promoting the development of social entrepreneurship and social innovation to enrich the lives of the underprivileged in Hong Kong since 2011.

e+Solutions was recognised as an operation that has supported social enterprises through strategic partnerships under the FSES MOVER model in co-creating and supporting the needs of the community while achieving corporate social responsibilities (CSR) and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG).

Delicious Express, our social enterprise partner, nominated e+Solutions for the work we have done to support its distribution of Mid-Autumn Festival Care Packages to underprivileged groups. This included volunteer support and coaching, helping to outsource business processes, as well as making a donation to the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation and the Youth Diabetes Action, which included 30,000 alcohol pads for patients in need.

Further recognition for the e+Solutions product came with an Excellence in Best Innovativeness Award from the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA), a design organisation that advocates for public interest in design and higher professional status for practising designers in government, cultural, entertainment, commercial and industrial sectors, for full-time and part-time teachers, as well as administrators on the academic side of designing.

The objective of the awards is to recognize and promote outstanding brands that value creative design and have a market value; and the judges said that the e+Solutions brand is a technology-driven eCommerce fulfillment services provider offering a comprehensive eCommerce logistics package, which make e-Commerce logistics easier and accessible with technology, operational expertise and outstanding global networks.

The judges noted that the e+Solutions branding breaks away from the stereotypes of traditional logistics by aiming to become approachable and accessible for the dynamic world of e-Commerce.

They said that featuring a sleek shopping cart, with the ‘e’ and the ’s’ of e+Solutions as its wheels gives a strong sense of identification, which instantly brings to mind the dynamic e-Commerce world, whilst demonstrating our strong logistics support that empowers eCommerce merchants to make their business successful.

Obtaining third-party recognition is a feather in our cap and a clear sign of how we are helping small entrepreneurs sell their own designs and products via the online channels and platforms dedicated to e-commerce.
