Gemini Cooperation reliability hits 91 percent in month one

With our comprehensive portfolio of international container shipping services for both LCL and FCL import and export cargoes, we were interested to read that the Gemini Cooperation, a partnership between Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk, recorded a 91 percent schedule reliability rate in its first month of operation, surpassing the Premier and Ocean alliances.

Data from eeSea, presented by founder Simon Sundboell at the recent S&P Global’s TPM25 event in Long Beach, California, shows Hapag-Lloyd averaging 99 per cent reliability and Maersk at 88 per cent as of March 1.

In comparison, the reliability rates of the Premier Alliance and the Ocean Alliance were much lower over the same period from January 27 to March 1, reports St Petersburg’s Port News.
