The U-Freight Group is seeing significant benefits from being one of relatively few freight forwarding and logistics companies to have achieved accreditation as a Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (HKAEO).

The certification from the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department recognises the company’s robust security standards across its operations and cargo handling processes.

It is enabling the company to benefit from a range of trade facilitation measures and further strengthens U-Freight’s ability to deliver efficient, secure, and reliable logistics solutions for its customers.

The HKAEO status acknowledges U-Freight’s strong performance in supply chain security and supports streamlined customs procedures, helping to reduce handling times and minimise potential delays across shipments.

Simon Wong, Chief Executive Officer of the U-Freight Group, said: “Achieving HKAEO certification allows us to benefit from faster customs clearance procedures, which directly translates into reduced handling times and improved reliability for our customers.

“Our customers can rely on quicker deliveries and enhanced supply chain efficiency, while our continued focus on security ensures that shipments are handled with the utmost care. This provides added confidence and peace of mind regarding the safety of their goods.

“This accreditation reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering secure, efficient, and high-quality supply chain services that evolve alongside our customers’ needs. We will continue to maintain rigorous security standards and invest in continuous improvement to further strengthen our operational excellence.”
