Capacity, measured in available cargo tonne-kilometers, increased 3.6 percent compared to January 2025, with international operations up 5.7 percent.<br><br>Regional performance showed significant variation, with carriers in Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Europe all reporting growth above the global average. Carriers in the Americas reported aggregate contractions.<br><br>Willie Walsh, IATA\u2019s Director General, said the demand for air cargo had a robust start to 2026.
